People kiss too quickly. I know that’s the point – a lot of the time. Kissing speaks a language we’re too afraid to learn. It’s full of syllables we’re too uncomfortable to pronounce and so meaning gets lost in translation between breaths – between the moments you want to last and the one’s where temporary has never tasted so good. People pull away and people come together and mouths touch and I know it rarely means much… But god, sometimes we need to just slow down.
