It should probably be kept under lock & key, to say the least. 

Because when I’m out and I don’t have my journal (which is quite often) – this is the place I turn to. For all the split second moments, the late night overthinking, the miscellaneous self-reminders, the awkward “stare at your phone” circumstances, and the occasional wine-induced thoughts… 

Some people need to learn to stop texting when they’re with other people – more often than not, I’m probably not talking to anybody – but I probably am mentioning you within my notes column.
